The Lifting Academy Limited is a fully accredited National Vocational Qualifications assessment centre and we specialise in delivering qualifications for controlling lifting operations.
National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are competence-based qualifications which are a mandatory part of the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) and the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS).
After successfully completing the CPCS/NPORS technical test the candidate is awarded a Trained Operator card. This card is valid for only 2 years. To upgrade a Trained Operator card, the card holder must achieve the relevant NVQ within the 2 years validity of the card .
